Pioneer Day Parade

My least favorite part of being a Stake President is riding in the Pioneer Day Parade. I drive and wave as the councilors throw candy. What do they think I am, a beauty queen? WAIT! Don't answer that. So if I'm obviously not a beauty queen, why do I have to sit in a prade and wave?

It was nice this year to have Annie, Brigett and Cole riding with me. President Belnap and President Payne have to walk since the new public safety requirements won't allow anyone to throw candy from a moving vehicle. What are they thinking? It's not a vehicle, IT"S A MULE! A mule which will soon be returned to the cabin, all cleaned up and in perfect functioning order.

HAPPY EASTER!

Annie, Bridget, and Cole coloring Easter eggs with Grandma

This picture was taken by Bridget. She loves to take pictures with my digital camera.
She has used my camera a number of times. I think she has a talent for photography.

Annie helped John and Kimberly make cupcakes.

Annie, Bridget, and Cole. We were just getting ready to dye the Easter eggs.

Saturday afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt in our back yard.
This picture was taken after the hunt. I love taking a family picture
on the rocks. John, Patti's family, Rick's family, and my family came
for an afternoon of food and fun. I cannot say more because I am starting
to cry. I hope we see you all next year. GREAT FUN!!!!!

a new member of the family

Everyone, this is Fritz.  2 weeks after Winston's passing, Fritz was adopted from the animal shelter.  We really don't know his name, but the fam decided on Fritz.  It was either that or Terd Ferguson or Juan Carlos.  I was partial to Juan Carlos.  Frits is a cheeseball.  He likes to beg for food and sleep under blankets.  He also likes to pose for pictures.
