TURKEY

This is Renae shopping for dishes in the "Grand Bazaar"

Entrance to Grand Bazaar

A view of "The Blue Mosque" across the harbor in Istanbul.

Inside the "Blue Mosque".

At the gate to the "Sultan's Palace" in Istanbul. In the museum here you can see the skull of John the Baptist.

Renae was scared to death when she looked at this map and saw where we were in proximity to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. "a little too close for me".

Eating lunch on the Island of MYKONOS. Notice the beautiful flowers overhead.

A back street where Renae shopped in Mykonos.

A view across the harbor in Mykonos.

Vendors outside ruins in Ephesis. No, I didn't buy one of these "Genuine fake Watches".-Pedro

This is the outdoor theater where Paul preached in Ephesis (3 hrs/day for 2 years). Most of the region was converted to Christianity. Paul visited here often and sent epistiles to the Ephesians.

This was the Library in Ephesis. I would have been the cultural center for Western Macadonia.

This was an inscription of "The Godess NIKE". If this would have been done today it would be a likeness of Michael Jordan.

A view across the island of Santorini.

The latrines next to the ampitheater in Ephesis. "The pause that refreshes".

Renae at lunch in Mykonos. We both grew to love the classic Greek Salad which is quartered tomatos, sliced onions, sliced green pepers, olives and Feta cheese, sprinkled with e.v.o.o. and a litle vinegar.

BEAUTIFUL! I AM JEALOUS BUT I, LIKE RENAE, WOULD THINK THAT WAS A BIT TO CLOSE TO THE OTHER PLACES.
